Prerequisite: Massage Technician Training (150 hour Program)
The required courses to complete this program include the
Massage Technician Training (150 Hour Program), plus 400 hours of additional studies.
A Certificate of Completion will be presented that may enable you to obtain out-of-state licensing and affiliation with professional associations.
The following coursework is required to complete the 550 hour Massage Therapist Training:
- Massage Technician Training - 150 hours
- Acupressure for the Bodyworker – 28 hours
- Advanced Circulatory Massage - 28 hours
- Anatomy/Physiology I – 42 hours
- Anatomy/Physiology II – 42 hours
- Business & Professional Ethics For Bodyworkers- 16 hours
- CPR/First Aid – 8 hours
- Deep Tissue I – 28 hours
- Deep Tissue II – 40 hours
- Deep Tissue III – 40 hours
- Human Energy Systems – 15 hours
- Hydrotherapy 12 hours
- Palpation Skills – 20 hours
- Pathology – 40 hours
- Polarity I – General Session – 17 hours
- Sensory Repatterning I – 24 hours
All Massage Therapist Program classes may also be taken on an
individual basis by those who are not enrolled in the program, if there is
space available in the class.
